SVS had its prelude for SVS Day today, the main event will be celebrated jointly with the ICM on October 17, 2009. Happy SVS Day!

Thank you Gerberge for the short info. I heard from my sister that the SVS mass last monday went well as usual. Maayatan kami unay nga mangbasbasa ti damag dita SVS most especially seeing those beautiful pictures uploaded in the photo gallery. Hope you will update us about the next big event this coming October 17, 2009.

This is my first time in many years to be reminded of SVS Day. Thanks to this site and to you there in Bontoc for posting this reminder. I've been to Bontoc on vacation several times but unfortunately they were timed during the early part of the year so I was not able to take part during SVS Days. Thanks again and please post some photos of the event.

THe Vicariate of Bontoc-Lagawe announced that the centennial celebration of ICM Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (ICM - Immaculati Cordis Mariae) has been cancelled due to the unpassable and unsafe road conditions brougth about by the destruction of typhoon Pepeng.

Understandable, considering the present circumstances prevailing in the region resulting from the destruction by typhoon Pepeng.

SVS Day and ICM Celebration

yes, the twin celebration had been cancelled due to typhoon Pepeng which devastated our place even leaving an incident which we may never forget. now another super typhoon is threatening to pass through our place again this week and we hope and pray that no more mass destruction be done.

We fervently join in prayers for GOD's mercy and protection so that our nation will be spared from another threatening typhoon. Our suffering people have not recovered from Ondoy and Pepeng's wrath. Please prevent typhoon Ramil from devastating any of our islands. Save us from further calamities by embracing our country with your protective grace and merciful blessings. We ask this in the Mighty name of JESUS, Amen.

Hello...I suggest we do a prayer brigade for Praying Together is powerful. Praying also the Divine Mercy every 3 PM is also powerful. You can also pray this anytime in a quiet place. God Bless.
