THANKS TO STELA CHUMACOG for sharing these photos at Facebook. Sya na nan spirit nan OG-OGFO. Making it happen for SVS-Bishop Nel's Building! Way to go...
Re: Construction of the Bishop Nel's Building
The first phase of the Bishop Nel buliding, SVS Elem school has been accomplished because of the great voluntary contribution from the Bontoc community. Old and new, women and men, religious and non-relegious, alumni and non-alumni came to support during the "buhos" of the building.
SVS can't express how thankful we are for all your support; cash and inkind donations. Si Apo Dios nan mansufalit amin isnan layad ya fachang ay inpaila yu, ya inegwa yu isnan tiempo ay nen kasapulan kami. This could not have happened if it were not because of your great efforts and willingness to help. IYAMAN mi ay palalu...
It was an overwhelming JOY seeing all those people who just came with their working materials, trucks, water pumps and a lot more. Food and snack donations were over flowing. KABUNYAN is really great!!!
SALASALAMAT ken chakayo amin.

Re: Construction of the Bishop Nel's Building
Yeah, I had been waiting for Stella and web Ryan to upload the latest development of our Bshp Nel Building Construction. Did'nt have the time to take pics coz i had been a laborer myself he he he (besides we have Stella to do that and the others). Any how, the true Spirit of Og-ogfo had been shown thru the Two days of "buhos". June 5 was the first buhos for the beams and June 16 for the "slab" (flooring.)
By the way, our building construction is under the close supervision of our Alumni Engr's in the person of Rex Oya-oy and Jerry Chimicag who constantly visit the site for comments and approval.
We have incurred a lot of expenses and thanks to the generosity of each one. We could not have completed 22 footings, 22 posts which are mostly 12 x 16. We are also done with half of the beams and half of the flooring for the second floor. The Master plan for the Bshp Nel Building consists two rooms and a stage for the first floor and two rooms and an office for the second floor. Each floor having toilets for male and female.
The Funds for the construction came from the fund generated by the Family Council headed by Mrs. Judith Chalcogen in the amount of almost a million thru the ; almost three hundred thousand came from various donors. The complete lists of expenses and donors will be posted later after having been audited. Our project have temporarily ceased.
We still strongly appeal for the generosity of each one so that we can continue with our project.

Re: Construction of the Bishop Nel's Building
Hei sir Chris,
Greetings from the summer breeze in Finland! Hehehe... I believe you had been really busy that's why you never dropped by. Thank you so much for posting the latest updates about the ongoing construction of the school building We're happy to learn that we have our alumni engineers monitoring the project, that way the school don't have to hire a private engineer to supervise it's progress.
Yes, we would love to hear close updates here in that way we who don't have time anymore to be facebooking can be informed too. I believe many don't have Facebook account and that they are relying only what is posted here in the alumni website.
"We still strongly appeal for the generosity of each one so that we can continue with our project." Sir may I just inquire if you use the same Bank account which was used during the Centennial. I have to ask since it's still the same PNB Account that is posted in our portal page here? You may want to give some changes in that way those who wish to donate cash directly to the school bank account, they may do so. We will be more than happy to update the announcement on the front page of this website if it is needed. Oh yes, maybe you can give us your telephone number too. Pasensya tay na-LCD nan mobile phone ko sir ya napukaw nan number yu et amin. I have to start saving new ones again, hehehe...
We look forward that more generous hearts will be touched to share their blessings for the betterment of our school. As usual sir, our team will maintain the usual contact with you. It will be via this website and through Stela that we will keep in touch. Way to go... Hauskaa päivän jatkoa! (in Finnish, Have a nice day!)
All the best,
maman Suni ya Gummai

Re: Construction of the Bishop Nel's Building
Hello there Mng. Freda.
I will be dropping by this site more often since i am not so busy now with the construction.
We'll be informing regarding the bank account later as soon as the remaining balance from the centennial fund is transferred to the school. However the Centennial fund at PNB posted at this portal is still okay. The plan is to continue using it.
All those who want to keep in touch, my CP number is 09108699596.
Thank you.
Si Kabunian nan mangbendisyon amin kendatako.
