VICTORY TOAST!

We would like to express our profound gratitude for your support that brought the 17 Saint Vincent’s High School students to Bucay, Abra for the 2014 Regional Schools Press Conference held from January 27-30. We are so blessed with your generosity especially to our SVS administrators, teachers & staff-Elem. & High School Department, our Mission Rector Fr. Marcs Castaῆeda, SVS Family Council, parents & alumni-Mr. & Mrs. Janet Valencerina, SVS Batch ’83 (Elem.)’87 (HS), Mr. & Mrs. Leticia Dacawe, Mr. & Mrs. Janice Kimakim, Mr. & Mrs. Cresencia Claver Astudillo & Faith C. Coma-ad. There are lots of you whom we would like to mention but it might take a whole wide page for it hehe, but sincerely- THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES! We were overwhelmed with your love!

All your help bore its fruit as two students placed the top 5 spots among more than 30 contenders from the Cordillera Administrative Region. Joshua Dacawe placed 3rd in Sports Writing and thus qualified for the National Schools Press Conference in Subic, Pampanga. Rachel Timidan also placed 5th in Editorial Writing. For the group contests, (SVS teamed with MPG) garnered 3rd place in Collaborative Publishing-English and 3RD place in Collaborative Publishing- Filipino. For the Fil.Radio Broadcasting, SVS representing Mt. Province, ranked 4th and we were given special awards as 3rd place in BEST NEWS PRESENTER and 3rd place also in BEST SCRIPT among the contestants from Baguio, Benguet, Kalinga, Abra, Apayao, and Ifugao.

Moreover, Khangsa, the SVHS Official Publication, bagged the 8th place in the Best in Sports Page. (To note there are more than 50 school papers in the region.)

Once again, SALA-SALAMAT UNAY! MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU ALL FOR YOUR KINDNESS & SUPPORT. This is ALL OUR VICTORY!
