SVS- School of Living Traditions
I've seen somewhere in this site a statement about SVS being a School of Living Traditions. Can someone elaborate on this, please? It's the first time for me to come across it, so kindly excuse my ignorance about the subject matter.

Re: SVS- School of Living Traditions
Hi Bontokinian and others interested... though I´m not the right person to explain the concept of the Schools of Living Traditions, I just wanna share my few cents knowledge about this. Please check the posted article from one of the graduates of SLT found at the SVS Current Events. This program was conceptualized and initiated by Bishop Francisco Claver, S.J. during the early 2000. With his aim that culture and tradition are values that should be kept and tought to the younger generation there is a need to be intergrated in the school curriculum. There were six SVS faculty members who successfully completed the SLT-Masteral degree at Assumption College, Manila on 2006: Mr. Julian Chumacog, Christopher Che-es, Maggie Fanusan, Jennifer Tuazon, Vilma Che-es and Frances Cullalad.
