I think this is Robynson Kadlosan, the SVHS Valedictorian? I suspect because of the big gold medal awarded to him-

Re: 2010 GRADUATION PHOTOS
I count 38 graduates from one photo which seem to be the high school batch. To me SVHS thrives when it graduates more than 30. The other photo showing Father Habawel shaking hands with an awardee is probably the elementary batch.
Well done, graduates!

Sir Bontokinian and others, the photo showing Rev. Fr. John Habawel shaking hands with an awardee are SVHS graduates sir. If you noticed the ladies are in their ¨tapis¨ which means that SVS is a School of Living Traditions and the boys are in their tuck in polo-shirts with necktie. While the graduates in the SVES wears the usual uniform.
Happy Easter ken chatako am-in!

Re: 2010 GRADUATION PHOTOS
My apologies! So there are more graduates in high school than in the elementary. Sorry about that. Thanks for the correction, SVS Headliners.

Re: 2010 GRADUATION PHOTOS
Please allow me to share my thoughts here. When I was a SVS-PTA officer on 2006-07. I understood why there is a greater number of enrollees in the SVS high school compare to elem upto present. This is because of the many transferees from the public or other neighboring schools in the province.
Some reasons of these transferees can be classified as movement towards independence. We found out that some of these students are experiencing adolescent problems; like family relationship, peer problems, cutting classes and worse is being kicked out from their former schools and many others...
Records showed that parents struggle to find solution to these kinds of problems. Instead of withdrawing they seek for counceling in search for a better if not best solution. They then transfer their teenage children to a private school where they can be properly monitored, cared, loved and accepted.
Syana nan mangwani-an tako ay ¨sound education¨ nan SVS. The school believes that ¨Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make an new ending¨. Just sharing...
matago-tago nan SVS!!!
